about

If I had to pick my favorite movement out of all the Atomic Symphonies so far, the 2nd Movement of this one would be my choice. The arpeggiated piano sections just came together so naturally and powerfully that it surprised even me. The flow from one section to the next also just seemed to fit together as a whole – it just has a feel that is both epic and organic.

The 1st movement is my homage to my favorite producers, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. The phat bass that acts as a spine throughout is a definite throwback to the sound they created for so many of the bands they produced in the 80’s. It was a joy to work with a sound that was so close to the one that had me dancing deep in my 20’s.
